Welcome, iliketext.com is a web service that not only allows the users to post and share their favorite text found on the web, but also dynamically recommends each user's tastes and interests for an inspirational text-bookmarking experience!

The more you reflect your taste, the better the recommendations are they we show you.

1. Go to the 'New' page to find your favorite quotes/text
2. Let iliketext learn either by clicking on the "♥" button or by posting new texts that suit your interests.
3. The more you repeat the above, the better the recommendations you get on the 'New for you!' page.

The Bookmarklet

so you can add your own texts

The bookmarklet allows for an easier bookmarking process. Bookmarked text can be viewed by other users. In order to use iliketext.com, you need to install the bookmarklet. {Currently no IE (Internet Explorer) support}

1. Right-click-on or Drag the link below, and add it to your 'Links' folder (Bookmark Toolbar for Firefox; Bookmark Bar for Safari).

2. When you're on any page with text you'd like to bookmark. Select/Highlight the text, then
3. Click on the bookmarklet (the link you added to your bookmark bar in step 1.)
4. A window will pop-up, and you'll see the text being added to iliketext.com
5. Done, now you can enjoy browsing our suggestions based on your likes, and the posts of other users, at iliketext.com
